• Is Faith Baptist Christian Academy accredited?
Yes.  Faith Baptist Christian Academy is accredited by the National Association of Private SchoolsThis accreditation ensures that the school meets or surpasses set standards with regard to all aspects of school operation including spiritual foundation, teacher qualifications, educational programs, and business practices. FBCA is also a member of the Georgia Association of Christian School and the American Association of Christian Schools.

• Is Faith Baptist Christian Academy affiliated with a specific church?
Yes.  Faith Baptist Christian Academy is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church, an Independent Baptist Church, located in Ludowici, Georgia. Our focus is to teach God's Word and guide our students and families in confirming and maintaining a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

• What curriculum do you use?
In keeping with our school's purpose - to disciple students in God's word, to help them develop their God-given gifts and talents, to discover God's purpose for their lives, and to equip students to be productive Christian leaders in their communities - our instructional program is designed with God's word at its heart.
Our elementary program incorporates materials from A Beka Book publishers.  Our secondary program incorporates materials from A Beka, Bob Jones, and A.C.E..  Students in 1st through 10th grades are administered the Stanford Achievement and Otis Lennon Ability tests on an annual basis to provide student achievement data and provide critical data necessary for evaluating our educational program. Secondary students are given the PSAT (Practice SAT test for college entry) and are guided in the process of completing the College Board SAT (for college entry) and/or the ACT (for college entry). Elementary and Middle School students are involved in weekly special activity classes including music, art, and physical education.  Secondary students have well-rounded elective options including classes in music, drama, art, physical education, yearbook/journalism, and multi-media.  All students are involved in daily Bible study and participate in weekly Chapel.

• Are all your teachers qualified?
Children at FBCA will sit under the instruction of teachers and staff members that are qualified to work with them academically and spiritually. These men and women have dedicated themselves to Christian education and they REALLY CARE about the children. Our teachers are certified through the Georgia Association of Christian Schools.
The faculty at Faith Baptist Christian Academy brings a wealth of knowledge and teaching expertise to the classroom with the schools’ average teaching experience per teacher being over ten years.  Our teachers have a passion for teaching, for their students, and for the Lord.

• What types of extra-curricular activities do you have?
Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities including Fine Arts, JV and Varsity sports (7th - 12th grades)—Football (8-man tackle), Volleyball, Basketball, and Baseball; and Jr. and Sr. High banquets and trips.

• What makes you different than the public schools?
There are three major differences.

The first difference is academic. We believe that our curriculum is more rigorous than the government schools and the results of that are reflected in our standardized test comparisons.

The second and more important difference is philosophical. We believe that we are in the role of assisting the parent to do their job of educating their child. We are not in charge of your child. Therefore, our system is designed to support the family and not the school system.

Third, and most important, is a spiritual difference. We believe that there can be no true education without Christ as the center. All of science, math, literature, and history, revolves around the sovereign God of the universe. A child who learns without God in their school environment learns to think that God is not necessary in their personal environment. To know God is the most important thing in any person’s life.

At Faith Baptist Church, we focus on the heart more than the outward appearance. When you come to one of our services, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans, to as formal as suits and dresses. Many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday best” clothes; however, most people find themselves somewhere in the middle. We fully believe that the Scriptures teach modesty as a principle, yet our main goal is that you would feel welcome on your visit here at Faith Baptist Church!

Do you give public invitations at the end of the service? What are they like?
At the end of his message, Pastor Sellars invites anyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to accept Him. This is also a time for personal prayer with God over changes we may need to make in our lives. We will be glad to talk or pray with you about any of your spiritual needs.

Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We don't invite you to Faith Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find a warm family spirit here, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest. As our guest, we would request that you would fill out a Guest Information card and we would ask you to drop it in the offering plate.

What happens after the service?
